I works for a convenience store. Because of all the recent events and what might happen in Congress about gun. I been telling ever gun owners about the possible of magazine ban and semi-auto ban, and that they need to take notice. Most are hunter, most don’t give a damn! The vast majority seem indifferent about it. One told me his rifle hold less then 10rd, so he doesn’t care. One ever said to me he is ok with registering his guns with ATF! And he have 100+ guns, I assumed mostly hunter rifle/shotgun. Are hunter not gun owner? Are all hunter like this? I guess they don’t care about the Second Amendment as long as they can still shoot deer.
Is the gun community really this disunited! |

Divide and conquer. Sew discord between various sub-groups of gun owners and they're easier to pick off one-by-one from the gun rights battle. Anti-gunners love this behavior and it's further fostered by the anti-"fudd" attitude by many here - OP included.
You say you hate hunters... why should they give a shit about the guns you like? |
| I've owned these type guns as long as I've hunted so that's definitely not the case for me. There are some uninformed people out there that just don't realize how big this thing really is and that it will impact ALL gun owners. If not now it will down the road. The NRA needs to make an effort to emphasize to all how important everyone's support on this is. There can be no division among us. |
