I like full-sized pistols.  I really like full-sized polymer pistols.

Let's share pics and discuss......

The best is the Glock 21.   I own the Glock 21SF with ambi mag release.  I think that the Gen 4 G21 is better though, and will be trading for it eventually.

Glocks are great guns, but I am using M&P's at the moment.

Other than it's not a Glock, what makes it a POS?  Never shot/held one.

I love my Glock 21, even though I will admit that the XD fits the hand a little better.  I have two G-30's that I am quite fond of also.

I've got some $$ on an FNX9 right now.

Why the hatred (honest question)?

Yes why?
I like mine, fits my hand better than a Glock, has manual safety, single action is better than the safe action of a Glock.

In this thread....It's not hatred.m it's a good gun, but has some serious shortcomings just like every other semi auto handgun FN has released since the BHP.

IMO half of those reasons are purely subjective, or pure what-if or gunshop fear mongering.

As for the ascribed failures, never had any occur to me.

If I had any hesitation, it would not be my CCW.

I can't believe 1911s haven't all but disappeared, what with there being $587 worth of steel in them.

My only full-size tupperware are a Glock 17, a 34, and an H&K Mk23.  Otherwise I'm a staunch JMB fan.  Oh, and old Smith revolvers.....

M&P 40 and the full size 9mm sig p250 conversion is on the way.  I wasn't going to buy one, but the shock of a conversion kit with a 17 round magazine in it being in stock right now made me click the add to cart and checkout button before I even knew what I was doing.

Of course, extra mags are backordered until the next ice age.

They were all real and actual issues that I had come across under my own use and ownership.

I'm not looking to make this a FNP Versus XXX thread.

I was trying to be as frank an honest as possible.  No need or desire to debate.  If the FNP/FNX works for you, that is great.  I did not regret my ownership one bit, and found it to be a very nice, capable gun.  Albeit handicapped and found lacking by the reasons that I listed.

The P345 at the bottom is my only fullsize polymer any more, but I guess the Mark III 22/45 could be considered fullsize:

Not poly, and I don't have a pic of my CZ SP-01, but it's tits.

All steel, rail, night sights, cocked and locked, and 17 rounds of 9mm on tap.

Makes a good cudgel if I run out of ammo.

I really like my Bushmaster SP2022 by Sig Schnauzer.

Don't do much with it since it's full-sized, but I really enjoy shooting it.

I carry a G23 though.

Polymer is good...

Here's what happens when you have a full sized pistol in a good grade of steel (3 pounds empty):
