I've been posting here for a bit now and have not become very bored. I'm thinking the next step might be to become a paying "Team Member" so I can post more assinine stuff without the sense of guilt. What are the pros and cons of becoming a member? I have read them and have a few of my own thoughts, but what are your thoughts? DA (yeah, I know, I get to put a cool GIF pic under my name!) |

Nice way to directly support the gun community. Feels good knowing that you're making a financial contribution to the running of this board. It's fun. I figure I've gotten WAY more than $60 worth of entertainment from the site. And the obvious: team members only forum, avatar, ability to host pics, a cool email address... etc. |

Cons??? You are further committed to a way of life which leaves you with even less any extra cash because you spend it all on a firearm related lifestyle. (is that REALLY a con?) Pros??? You are further committed to a way of life which leaves you without any extra cash because you spend it all on firearm related items. (actually too many pros to list) A couple for posterity sake.... financial support for the infrastructure cost requirements to host this site and the bandwidth cool icon thingy by your name ar15.com email addy the implicit gratitude of the rest of the Team Members who have come before you But for as long as you have been here, you already know all this. What the hell are you waiting for? It's only $60 bucks. $5 a month. Less than $.16 a day. Do you derive sixteen cents a day worth of enjoyment from here??? |

Quoted: Hhmm, if we use McUzi's mentality to judge why he isn't a member perhaps we can stereotype that he's Jewish. Everything written in the above post was sarcastic. It was meant to make fun of what you just said, just in case you can't tell. [:)] LMAO Kevin!! [beer] |

Before I get flamed lets explain somethings - My above comment is truly a joke and is clearly sarcasm. All of you should know that I despise stereotyping & hatred that is in the form of grouping people solely by race, religion, ethnicity, gender, etc. My comments are reply to McUzi's 'sarcasm' about becoming a member of this site. Most of you know how he feels about certain things and for those of you that don't consider yourself lucky. My outlook is that I judge people by their actions and what I personally know about them. Take care guys! |

This helps encourage the opposing viewpoints of firearms owners across the globe as 1 in 4 that get voted off either start their own firearms web site or become moderators in 'more open environments'. More web sites means more readers. We take great pride in voting off only those we believe have the will and drive to do this. We consider voting off outspoken posters our contribution to the firearms community. But I thought that was a secret. [:D] |

The next member vote off is coming up at the end of this month so all of those who want to get in on the action you need to join now. Anybody want a hint as to who's on the ballot? Also, the membership votes are final even Goatboy can't override it and let 'em back in. [chainsawkill] |
