[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Midnight Moon

Anyone try this legal moonshine stuff? They have them with strawberries or cherries and I think a few other fruits they add to their brand. They come in mason jars.

Is it pretty good? I live in Michigan and I don't know any legit moonshiners so I have nobody to compare it to if a got some and if it was like the real thing.

What are your thoughts on it?

I've tried their regular and apple pie. Pretty damn good. Apple pie has a cinnamon stick in it to add the flavor.

I've never tried the illegal kind of moonshine.

I got the blueberry one and thought it was god awful.
I drink a lot of higher proof spirits. This one was baaaad. Still might try the apple one though.

cherry mixed with DP or coke is good

Have had the cherries. Best bet is to mix em with something like a DP or Coke as mentioned previously.

They call it white lightning for a reason. Phew.

I've got the apple. It's tasty, but if you don't like it straight up mix with some apple juice or apple cider and it's good.

I'll probably demolish the rest of mine tonight.

what pisses me off is that you loose so much when you pour it out of the jar. Shit cost $18, too much to be spilling it...

I lol'd at the term "legit moonshiners", they're all underground. Also, it's not moonshine if it's been taxed. Then it's just liquor. Having something you're not supposed to have is half the fun.
