Some are newly interested. Good for those of you taking your gun right seriously of late, we need your help. Some may be familiar faces who just want more anonymity to express opinions that may have real-life ramifications (e.g., servicemembers creating new accounts facilitating greater anonymity). I am not worried about a massive influx of trolls. DU can see everything in the forums without registering anyway.  |

There are a couple people I have invited, because they went and bought an AR. I didn't think too much about it, until then. Many new people will either like what they see, stay around and learn a few things and contribute or get bored and go away.
As noted above CONTENT should be judged, not age. |

My Brother joined today and he is seriously concerned about the attack on the 2ndA.
Not sure what his screen name is yet. There are some real gun enthusiasts joining so everyone should think twice before jumping on someone else because they have a new join date. |

Consider the Ad Hominem Fallacy "...an argument made personally against an opponent instead of against their argument." Every post along the lines of 'STFU noob' or 'Join Date, check' is an illogical, fallacious argument. Just some food for thought. |

Some will earn a ban shortly. Some are curious after using Google to search on "AR-15" and are just taking a look. Some have decided it's time to join the community, probably have decided they had better get an AR now if they believe they want one.
For all the trolls, well, fuck you and fuck The Kenyan and his socialist sychophants. For the trolls from DU, pay attention, you'll notice that you won't be banned out of hand for holding a contrary opinion. Abide by the Conduct Code, and stick around a while, you never know, you might learn some factual information about the various topics under discussion in our society, instead of relying on your feelings and your little circle jerk of commies and their narrow view of, well, whatever. |

Came for the research and ideas on building myself an AR, Obama gets elected = panic of AWB, now this = more panic and messed up my chances, was told to just hold out and sit tight until the panic stops and hopefully nothing is passed so I can continue doing research and going about building my AR.
Stayed for GD mostly. Its my daily entertainment. |
