I don't know enough people of other races to form any real opinions. I've met some good/bad of all races. Most of what I see is coming from the news and papers (sad, but true). Most of what I've seen out there lately hasn't impressed me. If someone's an American, then they should stand and be counted.When people start throwing race or religion in front of the word American, then we've got a problem. These people are asking to be thought of differently at that point.When did being plain ole American stop being good enough? I'm English/Irish/Scottish/Swedish/German/Portugese and who knows what else,but American is good enough, thank you very much.We should all be flying the same flag with the same colors. |

I put in a vote for "all Jewish people". I really don't hate them. In fact I only voted for them because they were the only ones not voted for yet and I didn't want them to think they were left out from attention in this stupid poll. How come you left out: Indians? Rednecks? Hispanics? Canadians? Frenchmen? French-Canadians? Slavs? Turks? Vietnamese? Pollocks? Dumb Blondes? Liberals? People who perfer AKs over ARs? The list is endless. If the topic "RACISM" offends you, maybe you should smart up and not open the topic. This is America and we are free to like or hate whomever we wish. If you hate people who hate people then shut the f**k up and get to hating already, but stop the endless whining because sniveling isn't really becoming of grown ups. I don't hate anybody.I just feel the white race,OVERALL,is superior to the black race.I've met many fine black people.I've met many that I would have no problem sitting down with and having a beer. By the way,being a ni**er has nothing to do with what color you are.Ni**ers come in all colors. |

Addressing McUzi's original comment: While I know where you come from, your statement is WAY too broad. WAY too broad. I'll tell you what. If I could live in a neighborhood where my neighbors were Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Alan Keyes, Justice Thomas, J.C. Watts, etc., I'd be happy as a pig in shit and would be inviting them over for dinner every friggin' weekend. I'd love it. Now, I'd rather live in a complete shithole than live in a neighborhood with Al Sharpton, Jesse "Where's My Kid(s)" Jackson, Calypso Louie Farrakhan, Cynthia "I need a job!" Its really sad how black people especially the black middle/upper middle class has to live. They are looked down upon every day by whites and their fellow brothers who are bellow them and see them as traitors or whatever. Imagine having your kids coem home crying because they were picked on in a private school. I have a very good friend who is from South Africa but went to Cambridge. His kids suffer because their mom is white yet their father is black. I dont understand how people can be such A-holes. I only hate the Muslim faith (not nessecarily Muslims just the religion) which is a total fraud, evil, violent, primitive, and outdaated religion. Listen to Savage Nation.... I will admit to being prejudiced - as in "I unfortunately have a tendency to prejudge people based on their race, rather than waiting until the evidence is in first" - when it comes to blacks. I grew up for the most part in Florida and in North Carolina. Unfortunately the majority (I'd say somewhere in the 70%+ range) of black [i]adults[/i] I met or who interacted with my parents were people who believed that the world owed them something, or who had a chip on their shoulder the size of the Rock of Gibraltar. Remember, I was born in 1962 - perhaps that justifies the belief and the chip. Blacks were treated like sh^t throughout the 50's, and the 60's weren't a great improvement. But "attitude" was written all over most of the black people I met. That's what I was exposed to growing up. As a result, I expect "attitude" - brace for it, in fact. I know some damned good people who happen to be black, but I meet quite a few that live up (or down) to my expectations, too. |

I can understand that, in fact I've even sensed it before from some people. I grew up around many people who were racist and it sunk in somewhat in my early years but when I started working my opinions quickly changed. I learned that people were busting their butts doing what they can to provide for their families. I of course encountered those who were lazy and those who weren't, both groups contained those who were black, white, male, female, etc. I had one friend (who happened to be black) that worked two jobs, did them both better than anybody else and was my best friend, he had a beautiful family and always did his best for them. I was only 17 then and it was only a few years back that I was around those who stereotyped others. One day we were working on his car and I brainlessy used a term I had been raised around, I said 'lets n****r-rig it'. I immediately apologized and he said he understood & it wasn't a problem. I can't describe how bad I felt the rest of the day and every time I even think of it!!! He never once changed his attitude toward me and even though I haven't seen him in years I still feel sickened by what I let slip. I choose to judge people by their actions, not by color, ethnicity or religion. Granted, I don't like terrorist, I don't like gangs, I don't like liers, cheats & crooks, I don't like those that expect something for nothing. However, people should rembember that those groups that I listed come in all form. To say an entire race or religion is worthless is flat out WRONG!!!!! |
