I am a member on a big music-oriented forum. Unfortunately, their political sub-forum is dominated by leftist,progressive,socialist,commie,God-hating,gun-hating,Republican hating...you get the idea. I don't know, maybe most musicians are libs. I don't post there a lot,just lurk there to read about what they are thinking.Most threads turn into a circle-jerk of foul language and just plain hate, with the few conservative members on the receiving end.
Well, after the Ct. sickness, I couldn't take it anymore and started posting yesterday. There was simply too much asshattery to NOT respond.  God help me, it felt good.
Doubt I'll be welcome there anymore.

Not what I expected. I've been doing the same on a popular tech forum. Fortunately the tech community seems to be split 50/50 on the gun issue. I'm surprised it's that much, honestly. Depending on just how technical they are. I like to imagine my peers are somewhat competent when it comes to statistics. |

I've got a teenaged niece who set some of her FB friends straight on the issues back before the election, it was beautiful to watch, you could almost here the facts starting to turn the gears in their young minds. Too bad it wasn't enough. |
