I wish more vendors took plastic at shows. I hate going to the bank and getting 2-3 thousand out. I really want either another S&W model 10, or a Ruger Security six. You can't dicker with plastic like you can with cash. And what about walk in's? Do you expect some guy walking around selling stuff to accept credit cards? |

I try to carry at least a couple grand at all times. Never know what kind of 'right now or never' deal will come up. Judging by the Blue Book only a couple thousand of the 1950 Targets were made, and that one alone is worth two or three times what I paid for everything. I'd hate to have missed it due to lack of cash. |
Saw the Armalite AR180B today and finger fucked it a bit
I picked up some cartridges for my collection dirt cheap and smelled way to many unwashed people, although i did have a guy think some other guy farted death and yell at him although it was me.....yea i moved away quickly

Nice score! Quoted: I wish more vendors took plastic at shows. I hate going to the bank and getting 2-3 thousand out. I really want either another S&W model 10, or a Ruger Security six. I would say the majority of vendors take plastic at the shows around here. They might charge another 3% for the transaction, but they'll take it. |

Which one did you go to? I was at Goodman's Sharonville show yesterday. I saw one lady with a stroller. I never really paid strollers any mind, but after that thread I had to chuckle to myself. The crowd was huge. Summit County, Dick Walters show. Crowd wasn't bad this morning at all. Not even a line at the coffee stand. No strollers, and I jest anyway. I'm damn happy my Dad started taking me to shows over fifty years ago. The first show I can remember to this day was at the Ravenna Armory. I thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen. |
