What does the Hive think about the Budsgunshop Christmas system?
I ordered a new firearm on December 07, 2012 and have now found out that I won't get a mention of a tracking number until after Christmas has anyone heard or seen this? I'm not angry that I have to wait I just don't agree with the system I think it's a bit unfair for people who don't want Buds prescribed or chosen firearms. What do you all think? |
| All of the guns the Buds shows are in stock aren't always actually in stock. Some of the stuff they sell as in stock are actually drop shipped. So the guns they show as in stock to be delivered before Christmas are probably the guns they actually have in stock and know they can get shipped in a somewhat timely manner. |

Yeah, a lot of them come from Sports South and we've had some that came from Zander's as well. |
I can tell you (them) that last year it cost them a sale. I wanted to order a high demand gun that their site said was in stock but they refused to sell it to me because it wouldn't arrive before Christmas. I told the sales guy over and over that I don't give a shit, I just want the gun but said he can't sell it because it wouldn't arrive before xmas.  Ummm, ok then fucker, bought from another company and it arrived shortly after the new year. 
This would have been my first purchase through them but after that BS I've been jaded to try again. |

I think we're about a day behind on most shipments, but we're still getting guns out in 2-3 business days. We don't take forever to ship. We doubled the amount of workers in the gun cage last month to keep up. I'll sell ya any gun you want that we've got in stock! But, if you want a gun by Christmas, you should order it TODAY. |

They need to have their holidays too. Been ordering guns from buds for years, they have always done a good job for me. |

They need to have their holidays too. Been ordering guns from buds for years, they have always done a good job for me. They told me my gun was going to ship in 10 days, it went out in 3, and it came with some extra stuff. |

The problem is the local shops rarely have the rifles I desire. For example I ordered a DSA FAL this month, and a Century C93 the month before. Not really into AR15s with zombie-flage on them, even if they are common in the LGS. I don't mind buying locally, but they have to have what I want. |

I always give my local shop an opportunity to get what I am looking for....... there are a lot of guns on allocation we all know who gets preferential treatment in an allocation scenario.....the big guys....I would love nothing more than to go in a plunk down $$$$ with my local FFL but when he doesn't have access the next best thing is to make sure he gets the transfer business..... |

If it is "in stock" and has the crossed out box, it means it is in some other warehouse. exactly....I will have to say that I was in there a couple of weeks ago....it is a big operation and I have been in gun stores all over the country....they were running a deal on an AR I cant remember what brand (DPMS) maybe but they had a pallet of them out in the store....the guy said there were more pallets in the back..... |
