When did they start naming winter storms ? I've always been kind of a weather geek but I don't remember named winter storms
Yes, granted I live in the south and we don't have much winter weather here but we have some very devastating ice storms but as far as I know they never had a name. |

I guess it's for easy ID when a area is declared a disaster area.
Just wait, states will be looking to get declared "disaster areas" to get .gov money for fucking snow removal before long. How much you want to bet places like NYC will get it too as it's more than one way (besides legislation) to get extra tax-payer money to libtard areas. |
