Did they have a change of heart --I know AC/DC was opposed to this for a long time and all you could find on itunes was AC/DC "tribute"bands
My Itunes account is currently f'd up so i cant get into it --apparently I have to call someone at AOL to recover the password or some such BS

Declining hard media sales must have finally pushed them into the 21st century.

There's about a 100,000,000 people that are going to download Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, and boatload of other standards.

I like AC/DC a lot. Bon Scott was definitely my favorite. Brian sounded alright in the beginning, but I guess years of vocal cord abuse have taken its toll. On some more recent stuff he sounds like Donald Duck on helium.

You'll never hear him the same now that I've said that.

It's about time.

Mind you, I already own their entire catalog, but they really were just leaving money on the table, by being stubborn.

Not so much, I HATE the ipod interface, and Itunes.  I have an Ipod, but don't like it so much.

Looks like they finally wised up.

They should be making a lot more money now.  This whole 'lets not conform to this new age stuff and make people go to the stores to buy an actual CD' was just being immature.

It doesn't matter what you or I think. The fact is, the ability to easily and legally purchase (almost) every piece of music you wanted over the Internet at a reasonable price - one track at a time, or entire albums - is the reason the music industry is even able to hang on by a thread. If you're focussing on iTunes or the iPod vis a vis your personal tech preferences, you're missing the point.

EDIT: And mind you, this is coming from someone (me) who only purchases music on vinyl, and I'm not kidding. Be that as it may, I'm not so blind as to not see the vibrant colors in the writing on yonder wall.

I still enjoy Brian Johnson AC/DC, but there was just something about Bon Scott. I preferred their sound with him and his vocals.
