While drinking, and aren't really sure who you ordered it from, and you just accidently deleted an email from fedex saying they weren't able to deliever please pick up at post office blah blah...

What would you do?

Story - I was drunk, I ordered a lower parts kit, first site i tried gave me some issue at checkout so I went to another site and bought it. Then I received two emails confirming my orders from both companies. These emails mysteriously vanished over the past two weeks. One company emailed me again saying the order was cancelled and they refunded my money. I couldn't find the other transaction in my bank statement so I chalked it up to being drunk....

5 mins ago I find an email on my cellphone from fedex (i think) with an order number, tracking number, etc but, I accidently deleted it from my email and it isn't in my trash/deleted folder.

Options? Call the post office, UPS, and Fedex and ask?

Do you remember if you opened the FedEx email in your spam folder or your inbox? I don't open any USPS, FedEx or UPS emails that are in my spam folder. Only my inbox.

+1 on the scam email.  I've gotten a few of them saying it was FedEx or UPS.  Luckily, it was always when I knew I didn't have anything coming, so I knew it was a fake.

And cut back on the booze.

Or drink more and buy more gun parts!

If FedEx tried to deliver, they usually stick a package receipt on your door with instructions.  Usually they don't just send an email.

Easy.  Check your paypal or your credit cards or your bank cards to see who charged you for the parts in the last couple weeks, get the name of the company that way, call company, tell them your name, get tracking number...problem solved.

there is a scam going around that looks like an email from fedex saying they tried to deliver and you can download the info from the email.  the download is some sort of malware.   this almost happened to my wife.  they will leave a note on your door if they can't deliver.

Yep... if there is an attachment to the email, it's malware.  If there are links in the email, hover over them and see if they really lead to fedex.com or hotbrides4u.ru

If booze makes you buy stuff, don't ever go to a Ducks Unlimited banquet.  (We call them "Drunks Unlimited" banquets.)

Get blackout drunk and start re-allocating your 401k.
