Just curious...I know that when an ffl goes out of business or retires they turn in their files. Does the same hold true for a licensed gunsmith who does repairs. I know they enter your firearm into a book but I wonder if they ever have to turn that info in? I know, I know tinfoil. Actually what made me think of it is that I'm thinking about getting my C&R and one of my buddies said the paper work is kind of a hassle
If you let the C&R lapse does your bound book have to be sent in? ERic |

When they go out of business, they have to surrender their bound books to the BATFE. |
