It is just so traumatic to me that I have to move to this state...

If you like fishing, you're in a pretty good place. Largemouth, Smallmouth, Rock, small Trout, etc.

Deer and small game plentiful if you want to hunt.  Too many deer, trouble is access.

Hope you don't have to stay too long.  We're posturing for escape.

A few ranges around, not sure about up there close to you (I'm nearer Annapolis (pronounced w/major whine))  Marriotsville may be a good one to try - off I-70 West of I-695.

Say what you want about MD, I've lived here long enough to say plenty myself.  Gets worse each and every day.

Health problem (recent kidney transplant)precludes too much fun at one time, so I would have to decline a shoot now.

I wouldn't even try for a CCW, unless you're special.[:E]

The only way I would leave Area 51 is under US Marshal escort, sorry, they said they would not take one step into that shit hole, so I can not come.

Just remember, you guys can always come south to VA when you need to breathe some free air.
