This newest version of Real Player that I FOOLISHLY downloaded has been nothing but trouble for me. It causes me to get "high CPU usage" messages one after another and it has all kinds of capabilities I WILL NEVER USE. I simply use Real Player for basic functions like listening to talk shows and playing songs that are on my hard drive. Shame on me for not reading closer before downloading, but here I am now.
I want to go back to an earlier version of Real Player like maybe version 10 or 11 that worked fine for me to just play my hard drive songs and listen to talk shows. My problem is that I cannot find a site that offers downloads of these earlier versions that doesn't have a bunch of bullshit tool bars and other add-on applications that are written onto my hard drive. So, how/where can I go to download Real Player 10 (or thereabouts) without getting bombarded with unwanted apps/toolbars? Real Player 15 has far more apps than I would ever use and I want to go back to a kinder, simpler version. I understand that internet sites are not offering free downloads out of the kindness of their hearts and there is always a hook of some sort. That's fine as lon\gd as I can uninstall them. |
