I downloaded Firefox 'cuz I was tired of fighting Chrome for YouTube vids.
There is a google search bar on firefox. Can I ditch that anbd still search with firefox only? If so, how do I ditch it? (I still want to use google in other applications, just not have it to do anything with the firefox or youtube...) Thanks |

That search bar is part of FF so no you can't remove it. It has nothing to do with anything else. DL the Adblock plus add on. Yes you CAN remove it through Customize Toolbar. Will it remove google or just the bar. I want chrome as far a way from youtube as I can get it.... |
ETA: My setup. The address bar doubles as the search bar, which I have set to use Bing.
