Charging for an account is not a viable revenue stream and would effectively kill the revenue stream they have. They want your data, and they want you to volunteer it to them. |

No shit. It's free now and I've often considered dumping it. I think I have logged into my FB account 4 times in the last 2 years. I look at mine regularly, but I keep the personal stuff to a minimum, and it's pretty drama free for me. I stay on there mainly to keep in touch with friends and family who don't live nearby. |
| I post my life on there! Fishing and shooting videos, pet pics, vacation and camping pics, etc. I don't have any friends that create "drama" so that isn't an issue. I didn't think I would like it but I have reconnected with friends and especially family I havent seen or heard from in nearly 40 years. |
