"Lets get our Country back to the way it was when it was founded." Somehow, a group of Democrats up on the TeeVee found that statement to be racist because there was––-wait for it, wait for it.....slavery back when the United States was founded. Therefore, every person who is a Republican, wants to see improvement in the US of A, and everyone who wants to get back to basic fundamentals of running this Country is racist.
I don't know much about politics, but I know those people have their heads up their asses. I already turned the channel, but thought this might give someone else a laugh too. |

You are a racist because you oppose the enlightened, modern progressive agenda through promotion of the reactionary ideology of the Dead, White, European, Slave-owning, Male Founders of Racist America.  
By extension, you oppose the glorious vehicle of this march forward, the Obamamessiah. That is even more racist.
Get with the program Comrade Citizen. Oh, and pick up that can......

The nasty thing about a statement like that, no matter how ridiculous it is, is that there are millions who are stupid enough to believe it.
They will say "Wow, I never thought about it like that." and add that little tidbit to their hoard of cherished beliefs. |

One of the best responses ever to a claim of (somewhat jokingly) racism:
On the college soccer team I was on, we had several Ethiopians (Africans, but lighter skinned than 90% of black Americans). The second year, we had a white keeper come from a predominantly black high school. He was pastey-white, but most of his friends were black... just part of where and how he grew up. We accepted it and laughed when he made fun of whites AND blacks - he had the background to get away with it. The Ethiopians weren't considered "black enough" by the black guys at the school - so they hung out with us. One of them was fucking with the keeper, and kept saying "It's because I'm black, right? RIGHT?" The keeper finally has enough and says "I've got NOTHING against black folks - my family owns 4 of y'all!" **pindrop** Side-splitting laughter ensues from all parties, except the one who was giving the keeper grief. He just left, because he had lost and knew it. |
