Just got around to building a lower from a LPK I bought months ago.  I should have checked it then, but just shelved it.



Damn kit was missing the spring for the bolt catch.  Of course, I don't have a spare.  Looks like I'm calling up Brownells tomorrow.

I hate that. I have a fully built new AR minus the buffer detent and spring.

At least it can be shot without it, just matters when taking it apart, as soon as you open the thing the buffer will come flying out. But still. tiny cheap stupid part missing means incomplete build.

BOINGG!! it probably bounced out on the floor somewhere or it maybe stuck inside another part, i found the bolt catch spring in the buffer tube detent once.
