Any one know where to get the P training guns? I cant seem to find them using Google. Was thinking a fully functional training gun would be great for dry firing.

Thanks for Looking.

from what i understand, they cost as much as a real Glock.  my company bought 1 or 2 for our training department straight from Glock.

I'd get the G17R (reset) model so that you don't have to rack the slide for every dry fire.

Try Glockmeister, he sometimes has the special editions.

Look into Next level training's SIRT pistol.  Same size/weight etc. as a G17/22 and has the laser indicators for POI.  The trigger resets every time as well, and there is a separate laser to indicate you are taking the slack out of the trigger.  The trigger pack is fully adjustable, as well as the weight of the mag.  It fits into any holster that will accept the g17/22.  I've used it for 6 months now and its SIGNIFICANTLY improved my shooting.

The only downside is no reciprocating slide.

They ARE real Glocks.

Serialized and 4473 required.

Thanks for the tip. Can't seem to find them on the site.

If they are the same price as a gun, that would be a deal breaker.

Great, thanks for that. Glad to hear that it has improved your accuracy. That is what I am hoping for. It would great to get that glock trigger pull.

I picked a SIRT Pro up a few weeks ago myself.  It is a very impressive training tool.  If you are a Glock shooter, you'll love the reset and functionality.  If you use G17/22 size holsters, lights, etc. it is ALL compatible.  This is one of the best dry training tools I've found to date.

I will post up a complete review soon, but in addition to the great trigger reset and mag changability, it also allows for use of aftermarket sights to mimic your duty piece.  Everything but the recoil.  My cats are starting to hate mine.
