Hello all. I've been lurking out here for years but only started posting recently. GD has had me laughing out loud on a daily basis for a long time.
I'm female, grew up outside in NYC, live in northern VT now, and married a gun safety instructor. Among other guns I own a Mosin M44 and shoot it without a recoil pad. I don't whine about the pain in my shoulder. No pics. I'm old enough to be your mother  . I used to look like Xena 15 years ago, ergo my avatar. Now it's more like pudgy Xena who dyes her hair - deal with it LOL.
I'm down on LI now helping my parents deal with the hurricane Sandy fallout. I'm also keeping the neighbors alive with stuff I brought down with me. Someone was nice enough to buy me a team membership because of that. Public service announcement: Make sure you have enough bourbon for the zombie apocalypse, it definitely takes the sting out of it

Welcome. My state is full of idiots. Hubby is a native Vermonter though and won't move, grrr. I'm a registered Independent, voted Ron Paul in the primary and Romney in this election. I voted early, glad I did or I would have missed it because of being down here. NOT A DU TROLL. I'm just watching the election returns and hitting the bourbon pretty good, might as well say hi. Also just got off the phone with the Fire Dept too - trying to round up more gas so the neighbors don''t freeze to death. I can't tell you how much it sucks down here. |
