Nice dude. Nice. If I could send $200 and have that done on my lower.... Seriously.... FUCK THE NFA You mean the Hughes Amendment? Because that's what's keeping you from doing it yourself. Quoted:
I wonder why he lower have the auto roll marks but the lower isn't compatible with the auto sear (looks like you have to mill out the shelf for the sear to fit) Because there are rDIAS's out there that you don't need to mill the lower to use. |

There's only one current production lower that I can think of that doesn't require milling to the shelf or the sidewall of the lower. |

Awesome. What bullet weight in those? Assorted. Honestly, we had a bag of 5.56 that had all kinds of different stuff in it. 50gr, 55gr, 62gr all different manufacturers, etc. We weren't being picky. The 300blk was the same. I think Garrett ran about 10 different hand loads through it to see which ones cycle and which ones were subsonic, etc. Guy that loads them cronos out of a 16" unsuppressed so we wanted to make sure that subs stayed sub and some rounds that wouldn't cycle in his rifle would cycle fine through our SBR uppers with suppressors. Think the 300 went from 110gr up to 168 with everything in between. |

Quoted: Please excuse my ignorance of NFA. When a person like yourself can turn what is a regular AR15 lower into an M16 lower, this is because you are a 07 FFL or SOT ? I have tried to understand why joe average cannot turn his/her AR into an M16. Because there is a law that says you can't. |

Because of a knee-jerk reaction to mob violence in 1934, and because of some legislative asshattery in 1986 by a certain criminal named Charlie Rangle, may the fuck be eternally upon him. |

I never knew Rangle was the asshat responsible for the Hughes Amendment. |

Remember folks the reason you can't do this or pay to have this done on property you own is because a Democrat voted and said you can't. I do hope to watch the agency enforcing this law bleed out via budget cuts and see this law repealed. Don't forget the Republican who signed it into law. |

The NRA said sign it, and for good reason. Reagan signed it. If it weren't for that law you'd have to buy ammo and reloading components through an FFL. |

Stag lowers are full-width as well....at least my brother's is. None of the Stag lowers we have are straight walled. Weird. His has to be an oddball then - 100% straight. Matches up with a DIAS perfectly. If a DIAS fits then it's not straight walled. They are designed to fit in the thicker rear portion of an AR15 receiver. If you put a DIAS in an M16 receiver it would move around from side to side. A standard sear is wider and won't fit in any AR15 receivers that I know of other than the two I already mentioned. |
