Having a conversation with my dad about about how big arfcomm is and how busy it was during the presidential debates.
So my question is, how many registered users do we have, how many browsers, ect and what's the total number of people who have ever surfed this site. |

less than 320,000 registered users in a decade of existence. You have to be a realist and say that is not much in the grand scheme.
Hell one of the video game servers I ran had over 300,000 unique and active players on it in one year alone. Oh and yeah someone will come in and quote this and say "who the hell are you to judge?" Yeah I had 300,000 people on my service and no one knows who I am. |

That's cool. |

No less than 90% of those boxes are labelled in big, friendly, yellow block letters: "COCKS." |

Ok, how many total gun owners are there in the country? How powerful and influential are we? SWAG. 80 mil gun owners Pretty sure NRA is ranked in the top 5 as most influencial lobby groups. NRA destroyed political careers in 1996. Bill clinton said so. |

This site alone would have overwhelming political influence if, the members were registered to vote, and they were reliable voters with a rate of 90% or more of the membership. But, we're full of trolls, tools, and children, not to mention a few commies that I'd rather didn't vote, and we'll never wield our potential influence. |

Maybe small compared to the number of hits giants like Google receive but huge for an online forum. Not really... everyone overestimates the span and "influence of this place. It's big among gun forums. Nothing more, nothing less. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
