I have been looking online for weapon information lately considering I am
looking to purchase some few rifles. I figured wikipedia would be a good resource for such a topic. I noticed several clear errors on wikipedia regarding assault rifles. I also checked the world guns website, and there were clear errors there as well. One thing I checked was the M16A2 dimensions/specs as a simple measuring stick to determine if I should even bother trusting these sites. Both websites are regarded as reputable, and they were both clearly wrong. How can they have such inaccuracies regarding such straight forward data? Are there any reliable sources out there for weaponry? |

Quoted: It seems the only reputable source out there is Jane's Infantry Weapons. But it is very very expensive. I am willing to pay for professional literature for accurate info, but not that much! Libraries have them in the reference section. Jane's is all military weapons though. Original poster, I think you're in the right place to ask if you poke around the technical forums.
