| Come on, does anyone really believe that Romney is going to Win Ohio? He is at minimum 2 points behind not including the MASSIVE voter fraud that is going on in that state as we speak. Someone convince me that hes going to win this thing. Early voting is BS and so is the electoral college. |

Certainly. |
| Has the demographics changed significantly since the 00 & 04 elections when Ohio voted for Bush? Probably not. Yes I am sure there is massive voter fraud but that alone cannot make over about a 1% change. Demoncrats are going to be sitting on their couches uninspired on Nov 6th. Republicans will be voting from their deathbeds on the other hand, you fail to note just how motivated we are. |

I'm hoping the 2010 voting trend in Ohio carries on in 2012.
Seems to me that in 2008, Obamalamadingdong signs were displayed 4:1 over McCain yard signs. This year, it's about 6:1 for Romney I think it SUCKS that OH has a voting MONTH. I know of one elderly friend who early voted for the Chicago Prince, but has changed her mind...... damn. |

Quoted: Could be. But I think we're going to need to wait and see what the latest polling figures have to say before we can really guess which way this thing is going. Usually you could call it by now but I don't think you can do that until polls consistently show a 5 point spread. Pollsters grind an axe for their clients. We have to look at several before things start to make sense.Quoted: Come on, does anyone really believe that Romney is going to Win Ohio? I live in Ohio OP - down in the exteme southern part of the state where welfare is a way of life. You don't want to go into the local Wal-Mart the week the welfare people get their free goodies! Back to the topic at hand: the masses of black welfare people in Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Dayton will be bussed to the polls and given free snacks to go vote for Obama (one or more times).
The big city polling places will be run and operated by black people mostly. Now IF there is a way to cheat the system to give Obama more or Romney less votes, guess what these people will do? They don't consider it to be unethical. They consider it as being "a good brother" to do so. Additionally, almost ALL teachers in Ohio, and there are many, will vote for Obama. Ditto union workers who often vote "the way the union told me to." Romney WILL NOT carry Ohio and the "winner takes all" electoral system will give ALL of Ohio's electoral votes to Barry Soetoro. Sorry. I DO NOT want to see this happen but........... |

In 08 Obama won Ohio by about 300,000 votes. His base was energized and voter turnout was massive in certain communities. That same base, while still solidly his, is not as energized. The folks who dislike Obama are energized though. I have hope. Exactly! Romney has two things going for him. Despite Ohio being dead even in the polls (latest Rasmussen has them 48% to 48%), Romney's base is the more energetic of the two. And when the incumbent is below 50%, the undecideds usually break for the challenger by a 3 to 1 margin. Those two factors are enough to break the tie and swing this thing in Romney's favor. Now, that doesn't mean we need to get smug and overconfident. We need to stay on task and see this thing through to the end. This is an election of critical importance and we can't afford to get lazy in the closing days of the campaign. |
| I cant figure it out...everyone I know & interact with hates Obama yet were told that it's close here in the state? Traditional strongholds such as Cleveland have big numbers of dependent Democrats with their hands out though.....the other thing is that the State is on the right track due in large part to the republican Governor....ironic a republican Governor doing a great job could in fact ruin the big party for everyone..... |

I have been to or lived in every major city of the state. I currently live in Dayton. Today, I drove through the opposite side of my street, that I normally don't drive down. I counted 5 Romney/Ryan signs.
In the city of Dayton alone, 9/10 bumper stickers I see, are for Romney/Ryan. I have been OVERWHELMINGLY surprised at the amount of pro Romney I see out here. Every person I know that lives in Ohio, is either voting for Romney or not voting at all. Columbus is filled with Obummer signs. I was there 2 weeks ago and the funny thing I noticed was they were all Obama/Biden '08. I guess the movement isn't as strong as it was back then, and people are just using their old shit. The Cleveland area is mostly comprised of surrounding suburban cities that are pro Romney. I haven't been downtown Cleveland in awhile but I have been in the suburbs nearby to visit my folks. The closer to the city, the shittier the suburbs, and usually the more pro Obama support. But anything from 10minutes South and beyond, is highly pro Romney. The Obama movement isn't as strong as it was in '08. While it may be closer to a 50:50 of support, I see a much higher motivation in Romney's favor and I think his voters will have a much higher turn out. |

The only thing that's certain is that no matter which party loses, they're going to be yelling "massive voter fraud!!!" It's sort of like T-ball, where when your team lost, you somehow managed to convince yourself that the loss could only have been made possible by the other team cheating.

I believe that John Husted will ensure the elections are free and fair. He's always been a standup guy, from what I've seen. There will be fraud, but I think he can wade through enough of it to ensure that its not enough to tip the election either way. Where I live, there are probably 2 R-Money signs for every zero sign, if not more. And almost every zero sign is someone that I know receiving EBT or other forms of welfare. <object width="0" height="0" id="plugin0" type="application/x-dgnria" style="z-index:1000"> [div] [div]</object> |

Also our governor pissed off ALL the union thugs by trying to restrict their collective bargaining terms. I tried to explain that this was going to bite us in the ass when it was going on... ARFCOM told me to "fuck off" This single act lost so many votes it's not even funny. |
1 month voting is a huge scam, 1 week would be crazy. It's going to be very close. I'm doing my part. I was in A'stan last time and couldn't vote so add 1 republican, my wife who has never voted for an R in her life has agreed to vote for Mitt as long as I pay 100$ to planned parenthood if they try to pass abortion legislation
|
| A few months ago, I would have said that Barry was a lock, but now I'm not so sure. Mittens has come on pretty strong the last few weeks (yard signs, bumper stickers, etc). Although Barry has visited Ohio plenty, I haven't seen much in the way of yard signs, bumper stickers, etc. Barry's supporters don't seem to be nearly as energized this time around (they didn't get enough free shit, I guess). Traditionally-Republican areas will go Republican, tranitionally-Democratic areas will go Democratic. I think it'll be a squeaker. |

I can tell you people I meet, complete strangers are scared and angry at whats going on. They are voting and encouraging others to do the same. Which County please ? Warren, butler and Montgomery. My dad is in a union and voting Romney as is my wife. Only one zero sign on my street with 3 Romney signs fwiw. |

I know plenty of '08 O voters who are not voting or voting Romney. I don't know a single McCain voter who isn't ready to do backflips to the polls to get rid of the freak. I think a tidal wave is preparing to hit Obama in the face. Early voting is his only hope...but early voting with a wildly fired up Republican block is likely to favor Republicans.

Yeah, I think that had the potential to be a huge factor, but Obama sucks so much ass that it vaporized. I'm sure it kept a few people in the O camp, but it sure as shit didn't take many from the glorious forces of FUCK OBAMA! |
