have you ever tried it and does that stuff actually work? I was wondering what results you had.
How does it work |
| It works but I don't believe in the traditional Chinese medicine form. I paid like $7000 to go to Harvard for 5 weekend sessions on it, but I quit cause I just couldn't buy into the Xi and meridian crap they were forcing on me. They way I was taught in the VA is based anatomically. If the low back hurts, that's where the needles go. |

My wife had a pinched nerve somewhere around where the thoracic and cervical vertebrae meet (I am not a doctor, no Holiday Inn for me either) that went un/mis-diagnosed for way too long. By the time the docs took her seriously, she was suffering from random but almost stroke-like numbness, lack of limb mobility, et cetera. They blamed everything from hysteria to lupus to MS. A Kaiser doc who had been trying to get her administrators to take acupuncture seriously started treating her with regular sticks and beta-blockers. Within a few months, my wife was almost back to normal. She went to a local practitioner every quarter for about two years, then once a year for another three, hasn't been back in a long time. Still some lingering pain but no return of outward physical effects or limitations.
For her, it was a huge success. YMMV. |
