Opened a can the other day.  Damn that's good stuff.  Even my 18 month old grandson enjoys it.  Slice a piece and fry it up.  Makes a helluva breakfast sammich.

If you havent tried it yet get it!  That and Tobasco Spam.   Both far exceed the original.

Still havent opened the turkey spam tho, seems an abomination.

I haven't tried the Tabasco stuff yet.  I do like the bacon version.  It makes pretty good sandwiches on sourdough with sharp cheddar.

The Tobasco was good but would water your eyes if the pan's too hot.

Bacon Spam, cut 1/4" thick, pan fried crispy (or broiled), and served on a buttered English muffin.

All the Spam talk got me to buy a couple cans to try out, bacon and regular.

Well, Spam must be an acquired taste.

I found I could  eat it, but I sure wouldn't want to have to  eat it.

I was disappoint.

Bacon SPAM is the only SPAM I can eat. What is really odd, Bacon SPAM tastes less salty than regular SPAM. I  didn't check the sodium content as I did not actually look at the ingredients - there are some things I just don't do.

As stated by the op, it has to be fried crisp for me to eat it. Regular spam not crispy is nasty to me.

Next time you deep fry something, slice up a can in 1/4 thick slices and give it a go in the fryer. Nothing finer.

went to the store this morning to replenish my supply of bacon spam......it is no more...     Now I've got to start searching out a new supply.  I picked up the hickory smoke spam and it's certainly no substitute for bacon spam.
