I had the election prediction thread for 2008 (which I was correct, btw My prediction: Romney wins - Unless something major happens, like Romney being caught in bed with a live boy or dead girl, Obama's 4 year reign of terror is over. This isn't wishful thinking, I really do believe this. |

CEO's coming out swinging left and right against Obama Terrible debate performance Ryan will eat Biden alive Suspect job performance numbers Shitty economy Gas/food prices through the fucking roof A mess of a foreign policy Some donor scandal potentially coming out I mean, shit....was else could possibly come out? |
|
Quoted: Quoted: I am going to write in the family cat - 'Gizmo'. Plz adjust the poll for more accurate results. =Romney -1 Obama +1 I keed, I keed. For the record, they are both douche-bags "Do you want me to check your prostate with a gold bar or a homeless person?" That's how I feel |
|
Quoted: In a fair election Romney wins, however, I still think the Dems will play every dirty trick in the swing states to keep their man in office. I live in a state with voter registration. The state to my left has just struck down voter registration. Would it be bad if I picked up a local newspaper and started reading the obits ? Like the dems say... "Vote early and vote often" |
| Romney by 5%, not sure on EV's but will have the majority. I've been one of the few here stating Romney would win since the nomination so this is nothing new for me. I am seeing a bunch of eeyores changing their minds on the outcome but honestly I don't see how Obama can win. That said, a month is an eternity, some major scandal pops up, Romney screws up in the next two debates or the Middle East goes up in flames and it could change. At this point, most people have made up their minds who they're going for but I predict some on the Obama side simply won't vote. Still, turnout is crucial for Romney especially in swing states. |

I've been a big Romney supporter all along too, but I'm glad to see people warming up to him. Ever since I looked into the financials of the companies Bain got involved with, I was extremely impressed with the results. |

The 5% margin of victory/loss is consistent throughout history. There's always been a clear preference one way or the other with the victory being decided by 4%-7% of the people in between. Whenever you see candidates go a bit moderate, this is the people they are trying to woo. |
