Only took the medical profession nine months to figure out I have ulcers on my small intestine. Probably wouldn't have taken as long except every test gets scheduled a month in advance and then it takes another month to find out the results. So November they do their thing to get tissue for a biopsy and the results in December. That makes it close to a year since this started. EKG, X-rays, blood, urine, CAT scans, MRI's, colonoscopy, endoscopy, pill camera twice, next up is an interoscopy, then maybe surgery. No insult intended toward Physicians but I prefer Star Trek medicine where they give you a pill and you grow a new kidney or whatever. |
