I'm waiting for a news link, but I got word this afternoon that a kid burst into a crowded local convenience store with a knife to rob the place. Reportedly, many patrons attacked and subdued the kid and held him for the cops to haul his bruised ass away.

Another one for the citizens!

That story is missing a lot of details....

The knife wielding teenager saw the guy (from the news story) at the door, backed up and went to the ground...

Why?

Could it be someone was armed and presenting said armament?
