I quit listening to Dan carlin. He injects his liberal politics into history lessons, that's a big no no for me.

History According to Bob - Six podcasts a week. He works his way chronologically through six different topics, so their is always a few topics of interest (He just started the War of 1812).

Skeptics' Guide to the Universe - A weekly 80-90 minute podcast dealing with science based topics and the "skeptics" movement (not a good choice for theists unless you are thick skinned).

Freakanomics Radio - Like the book.

TED Talks - If you have never listened to a TED talk, you should give them a try. A huge variety of topics.

NPR Planet Money - Good economics based reporting. It is from NPR, but don't hold that against it.

NPR Car Talk - Proof that NPR is worth listening too.
