troops are dropping from freight planes and rolling up on shore in container ships. What do you do, right now. where you are at.
|
| It wouldn't happen in Texas because any unfriendly force would know Texas is a very bad selection for entry into a war. Once they were confirmed unfriendly, I could easily see a scenario where a large number of like minded civilians with scoped rifles put a major hurting on an invasion force. |

Any invasion force that would challenge the U.S. mainland would make Overlord look like a battalion sized exercise. There isn't a country on the planet, in fact there isn't 10 countries on the planet combined that could assemble the combat troops, and logistical capability necessary to pull it off. |

I'm sure China could, and Russia could have, but they would have to do it pretty much like in "Red Dawn" and have it be a combination of infiltrators, sneaking troops on commercial carriers, and tactical nukes. |

Quoted: Bet the one that did not invade US would ass rape the other the minute their main force was engaged with us.JMHOQuoted: Any invasion force that would challenge the U.S. mainland would make Overlord look like a battalion sized exercise. They don't have to win to be effective. Lets say this WWWIII scenario kicked off, obviously there would be the main fight elsewhere. A relatively small kamakazi force attacking the us would force us to expend vast resources here to defend against another similar attack that could happen anywhere on our thousands of miles of coast line. For relatively little cost to a country that doesn't value it's citizens lives you can tie up a huge portion of our military. Sure we could rely on naval assets to effectively defend against another potential invasive attack but the public would be clamoring for troops in their towns they can see and won't be satisfied that an unseen navy would absolutely protect them. |

State sponsored terrorist groups....... Wonder how many hezbollah & Hamas turds are already embedded here in the US. |

Quoted: umh,yeah..lol, Im old school I guess. Funny how that shows itself even though I try so hard to keep up. Quoted: They are probably already fucking here, listening to some shortwave station waiting for the code to attack. This, except it's 2012 now, so more likely it'll be a tweet |
| I'm pretty much fucked in my present location. I'd still try to evacuate the extended family I have around. Get in the car and try to get to a nearby army base. I have a shotgun. It isn't really enough firepower to protect myself let alone my family from trained combat troops. |
