I usually use Thrifty. Excellent rates on their economy & compact cars as well as unlimited mileage.

For sure get one with unlimited mileage, and abuse the Hell out of it, that's what your paying for, we rent every year to go on vacation, we enjoy the trip more knowing we are not racking up mileage and wearing out our cars.

Avis.. you should be able to get a midsize with unlimited mileage for $35-40 a day.

The wife got it of expedia.com or one of those type sites. It's funny because the people at the counter don't even know what you pay. |
