Link Cool looking simple poster that I may hang in the office but not sure what the message is. Why is the powder risk? Why is the bullet humility? WTF kind if bullet is that with the jacked up boat tail and super pointy soft point? Doesn't that charge look light?
Why is it $35? Is this art or something? |

From the artist (Joey Roth),
As Roth writes, they learn to “design your project to cut through apathy and reach those who will appreciate it, but realize that once it’s in the world, its success and failure are no longer yours. Temperature, dew point, and Earth’s rotation affect a bullet’s flight as much as the shooter’s intention.” |

Quoted:
bullet -humility - holder of life and death. I remember from Appleseed how they kept saying the target doesn't lie. That's what I think of when I see the bullet as humility. One can say whatever they want about their abilities, results will show the truth. |

Inspiration provides the spark. Discipline guides and shapes the reaction's driving force. Risk drives the endeavor. Humility provides a balance against discipline, both of which work together to create useful work from the violent reaction caused when inspiration meets risk. Without inspiration, there is no igniting spark. Without discipline, the reaction vents its energy to dissipation. Without risk, there is nothing reactive to provide energy. Without humility, you get a flash in the pan with no useful work. I think the illustration fails at the placement of humility, but I can't suggest anything better to take its place. |

Inspiration- The spark. The catalyst that starts the process.
Discipline- Holds the whole process together. Without it, it would not come together or fall apart. Risk- The necessary ingredient that must be used. Holds the potential (potential energy) to end up good or bad. Humility- The end product, released upon the world. Your name is on it, yet it is now out of your control. |
