I was reading another thread and saw the patented 'Bush's fault' reply for one of them million things that Obama has screwed up.....then it occurred to me....
When Clinton beat Bush back in 1990, he set about building the federal government the way he wanted, was more or less deified by the left, and when he ran for re-election, I can't seem to recall a whole lot of talk about "...years of Bush's failed policies". Like him or hate him, Clinton delivered on many of his promises to his constituents, or at least convinced them that he did, and they re-elected him. Obama hasn't been able to deliver one thing that he promised he would. Nothing. Zero. Why? He tells us that he inherited failed policies. I say, he's had 4 years to correct things...and hasn't. What's the matter Barry? Not the man that Clinton was? I've said for over a decade that Clinton was the biggest embarrassment of a US president in my lifetime...even more so that Carter....and yet, compared with Obama, he stands as a figure of accomplishment. I guess I can't say that Clinton is the biggest embarrassment any longer...I suppose Barry was better than him at something.

I can only think of bad things and I like to think I am somewhat aligned with reality. I would say that Obama has damaged the US in ways it will take a decade or more of conservative governance to correct. He has been in over his head since day one. |
