Abandon all hope ye with a Prime membership. I seem to be ordering something from Amazon on a near-daily basis lately. Every time I'm looking for something, Amazon turns up as the place to order from. Here are the things I've ordered in the last few months:

Little Giant 599123 ACS-2 Condensate Overflow Safety Switch Low-Voltage 6' Lead Wires

2 of Litefuze (Black) Grounded Europe Adapter - USA to Europe Heavy Duty Adaptor Plug German Schuko

Given Up for Dead: American POWs in the Nazi Concentration Camp at Berga

Oster BVCB07-Z 6-Cup Glass Jar 7-Speed Blender, Stainless Steel

Hydro Tools 87958 Protective Pool Ladder Mat and Pool Step Pad, 45-Inch by 60-Inch

OXO Good Grips All-Purpose Squeegee

Irwin Industrial Tools 2078300 8-Inch Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper with ProTouch Grips

The Shave Well Company a TRULY FOG FREE Shower Shave Mirror. Truly fogless by design. Will not fall off of the wall.

   Accutire MS-4021B Digital Tire Gauge

Mae Ploy Thai Panang Curry Paste - 14 oz jar

Perfect Pet Tubby Kat Cat Door with 4 Way Lock And LEXAN Flap

Shimano EF-51 Triple 7-Speed EZ Fire Shifter Set

   Dorman 931-401 Door Lock Actuator

National Hardware V1345 Touch'n Hold Screen/Storm Door Closer, White

The friggin' door lock actuator for my truck was half price what they were asking for from the Toyota dealership. Whoda thunk that you Amazon sells that?

It has cost me many a dollar. I hate/love it.

yes they are.

they even deliver my ass paper every other month.

love the prime.

Shit, I woke up one morning after a drinking binge and visiting the survival forums to find I had purchased everyone in my house a tent, backpack, mountain house, knives, axes, sleeping bags, compasses, a 15 gallon gas drum, a new netbook, a cellphone cover, and an Al Bundy "Polk High" football jersey t-shirt.  It was an $800 lesson.

ETA-it's the one click ordering on the Amazon App on my phone that really gets me.  It don't have to do shit but push a button and awesome stuff is on the way.

If you were going to buy all of those things regardless, Amazon is heaven-sent.

If, OTOH, you could have gotten along just fine without them - well, then yes, Amazon is evil.

FWIW, I love me some Amazon Prime too.

I love Amazon.

I hate driving to the store, fight traffic, walk around and discover the store doesn't have what I am looking for.

The shipping cost is well worth the time/disappointment/frustration of shopping locally otherwise spent with my scant free time.

150ct box of size 5 Luvs ordered thursday afternoon...  FedEx just dropped them off today (Saturday) free Prime shipping.

they're the same price to the penny what I can get them for at Wal-mart.

It bothers me greatly that Prime has changed by purchasing habits. Yet I still go there first for anything I need

Hmm. I won a "Closest To The Pin" award during my company golf tourney.

I received a $100 Amazon gift card and I have Prime.

What should I buy? Maybe I should start a thread.

I hate going into town to get stuff.

I have been buying car parts, gun stuff, and even bought a couple of cases of gravy mix that we use here.... 48 packs.  I buy tonight, work my 24 hour shift tomorrow, and brown Santa is banging on the door after I get out of the shower after work.

I love it.

I was surprised by how small it is, but you know what? It's big enough, and that's what matters. And it is fogless. I have it mounted on the wall adjacent to the showerhead and it doesn't really get wet over there. I didn't even have to heat it up the second time I used it. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Edit:  Plus a bunch of free movie/tv rentals from Amazon's streaming media service (you'll need a Tivo, connected Bluray player, or other compatible device to access them)

The furnace in my house came from Amazon. $3.99 overnight shipping!!!! Not only was the shipping great, but the price was cheaper than anywhere else online (one place was $10 cheaper but wanted $90 for freight shipping and $25 lift gate fee), and much cheaper than any of the local places (who didn't really want to sell it without installation anyway).

Amazon has everything, if they don't have it you just don't need it. They ship quick, and if you ever have a problem with an order they take care of it. Every retailer in America had better be watching, Amazon is going to eat their lunch.
