Damned presbyopia is getting so bad I had to mount my monitor on one of those articulated arm things. I need it at different distances for different uses.

That's 100 bucks I could have spent on beer or ammo!

I can't see shit, and my shoulder hurts.  But, I had a good BM this morning.  However, I sneezed and pissed my drawers a little later on in the day. My Alzheimer's has been acting up, up, and away down yonder on the Chattahootchie kootchie man.  What was we talking about again?

Thanks for the laugh guys.

Look at it this way. At least you had the 100 bucks to buy your articulated arm thing for your tv.

True, when I was a young whippersnapper, I never had that kind of cash...

I spent it on beer.

I'm fighting that.
I have multiple prescriptions.

Distance
Monovision( left eye far/ right eye near)
Intermediate (12- 24 inches)

If my scrip didn't change a little every time, I'd get Lasik. And wear readers.

When my Pepere was still alive, I once complained to him that it sucked being young. He said, "Oh really? Try going through WW2 and being 75 years old. THAT sucks."

Shut me the fuck up.

I take more pills than my great-grandmother did when she was twice my age. She ate cantaloupe peels, too. Creepy, especially for a little boy.

My kids say I'm old because I like broccoli. I like spinach too.

Anyway.......I took 24 pills and gave myself 2 bags of IV meds today and topped them off with saline flushes and heparin. I miss the good old days when my mixed drinks had rum in them

LOL.  Just before I hit "Submit", I figured you might catch that I'm not that old –– I can still push the wheels on the chair.  I do drag one axle along the drywall though.

mustering in! Over 50.  I have cheater glasses scattered everywhere.  This spring I lost about 15% range of motion in my right shoulder due to some kind of instant-onset arthritis.   It was an important 15%, let me tell you.     Do Not Want.

I was thrilled when I got presbyopia in my 40's.  It offset my extreme myopia just a tad.  Before, if I set my glasses down for a minute and forgot where I put them, I had to get the spare pair out of the fire safe to find them.  Now I can find my glasses without wearing my glasses.  My uncorrected vision is 20/400 (not a typo).  Last time I checked, my myopia was too severe for me to have lasik surgery.

But yeah, getting old sucks.
