Is there such a thing as a app like this for iphone?

Have a friend who's son just got a iPhone and they are looking for a app that will tell them where the phone is if he looses it, or if it's stolen so they can either brick it or track so the police can get it back.

Find my friends - It was released with iOS 5 from Apple. If both parties have it enabled, you can see where each phone (person) is.
