Food stamps are now called SNAP for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Food stamp usage is up 64% in last four years. Cost is up 114% in the same period.

I do believe Mark LaRue did the math and came up with some crazy number for how long soup lines would be if they were not hidden by SNAP.

I'll hunt it down later.

How are slurpees, snickers bars and doritos nutritional? Which is what a family of 5 were buying in front of me at 7-11 the other day. I dont think the name of the program "snap" fits the bill...
