I'm typing one handed with direct pressure on a chainsaw wound to my right kneecap.
3 inches long maybe. possibly to the bone. waiting my ride to the doctor. is this a simple stitch up or is there critical tendons and shit on top of the kneecap? |

If it was right on the kneecap, you will be fine and have a nice scar. If your aim was a little off, it's tough to tell. Your patella sits on top/in front of a lot of important stuff. |
|
Or you can be careful and not cut open your kneecap. |
I've done worse with plastic knives.
|
|
How'd you get that other scar on your knee? |
|
thats cute.......... |

It looks too clean for a chainsaw wound. You need to throw in some saw dust and dirty chain lube for effect.
Note: Don't actually do that because you would probably do it and then sue me after the infection sets in. |

Quoted: ive been trying real hard to pay bills without letting it go Ask your doc what the charge is and see if he'll let you pay him out. Let him know you don't have insurance and he may give you a break. At least ask for the rate the insurance company will pay. I hate to see anyone sell their guns to pay bills, good luck OP. |

Gee, it's a lot easier to evaluate if we can see the wound and test function. The answer to your question is maybe housecall?
I have some patron in the pantry! It holds weight i can clench my thigh and tighten it up moving the patella without pain i dont want to bend my knee though it'll open up the cut noveske is now listed on th ee |

So what your saying is: "I used to be an adventurer like you until I took a chainsaw to the knee."

I don't think I'd even go to the hospital for that. I'd superglue it. And yes I mean that. Aren't you a fire fighter? You DO know better than that. That's HORRIBLE advice. And EMT. Superglue is basically dermabond. Irrigate with saline or sterile water, the bleeding isn't bad. Glue it, wrap it, rest it. It's the exact same thing most ER docs here would do. |
