When he got shot in Vietnam carrying Lt. Dan, I always thought he said "Ahh son of a bitch!", which didn't seem to fit his character. Only later did I realize it was "Ahh! Something bit me!". Movie captured what I think Forrest Gump represents way better than the books. It's my very favorite movie of all time.

The movie came out when I was in highschool, I thought it was great and the soundtrack rocked. Read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed that.
