Was fucking awesome! Started off with a "Don't tread on me" version of one of his songs. Wore a Gadson hat for most of the show. Played for over two hours. Talked about how he could be picky when he chose concerts to play, when they asked him to play Chicago and New York he said "shit no". Played "Keep the change, we'll keep America".

If he's not an Arfcom'er he should be.

Despite his "shoot him with my old .45" line in the song, Hank likes 9mm H.P.
He also likes Sharps rifles.
I also read he has a steel buffalo at 1000 yards from his porch for plinking.

Although he has a reputation for either not showing up for concerts or not being able to perform due to being messed up, I've seen him five times and every time was great.

Glad you had a good concert too.

Saw him maybe 25-30 times in the late '70s and early '80s.
You know, before he became a caricature of himself.

I've been a Hank Jr. fan since I was old enough to talk, never met him in person, Charlie Daniels is as about as good a man as they come.

I've been a fan for a long time.

When I went to the country music hall of fame a few years ago they had one of his Sharps rifles on display there.

I think I've sen him at least five times over the years. The man put on some good music, whether he was standing up or needing a chair to finish the concert

Ain't no doubt he's on this web site.
