I thought it couldn't truly be deleted?  If you put in your login and password won't it reappear?

Good for you.

What are you trying to prove by doing this?

So lemme guess, you are gonna start a new thread for every new thought you have now?

This and the e-mail is on record even if deleted. Try signning up with a different user name and use the old e-mail adress to check.

There's a waiting period, I think it's two weeks. If you log in before the waiting period is up, the account delete will be cancelled. If you don't, it's deleted after the waiting period is up.

This is different than deactivating your account, which doesn't permanently delete it.

There is no deleting it.

It may be inaccessable, but don't fool yourself ...unless it makes you feel better.

So since I deactivated it, it will permanently delete itself after 2 weeks?

Wrong. Educate yourself rather than just repeating what you've heard.

If you did the delete procedure, yes. Not if you did the deactivate procedure.

It's ten days or two weeks, I forget which.

If you want to, you can delete photos and details about yourself, and change any remaining info before doing it.

Do you have some kind of political/moral reason for doing it, or did you do it just for the hell of it?

Good eject OP.

If you did the delete process correctly your profile will be completely gone in a few weeks. Just don't log back in.

Its 2012 and data storage is so cheap you can give it away.  Anyone who thinks their stuff is "deleted" by a third party is delusional.  You can't even delete stuff off your own computer without the proper software utilities.
