My fiancée is about to put a bid in for a foreclosure. What have you all learned before you bought a foreclosure or what to look for? This will be both of our first homes so we are still new at this. Thanks! |

I forget what it's called but get the home warranty. Negotiate this into the deal. Our heat pump and furnace took a dump the first winter and they replaced everything for free.
IMO, When dealing with a bank instead of a homeowner, they want to get rid of the house just as much if not more so then you want to buy it. Make an offer accordingly. |
