| I'm looking to redo our deck and was hoping to design it myself. I saw Timbertech has a tool, better homes & gardens, etc... Anyone use any of these design tools and recommend them? |

I used the online Deck Builder from Lowes. Came up with a decent design and materials list, but the plans sucked when it finally came time to actually build. No references for certain dimensions and any local code changes can really skew your materials list. Home Depot and Menards up here have something similar and after dealing with Lowes, I kinda wish I would have gone with one of them.  |
