I would like to find a nice leather jacket. One for everyday wear in fall and winter and early spring.
I want something rugged but casual, not like a gay biker jacket or a sissy Italian lamb skin metro jacket. I'm also not into the military bomber jackets either. I don't want to look like a WWII fighter ace or a wanna be Harley rider. Just a basic leather jacket without a bunch of useless zippers and straps. Anyone have a line on such a jacket? |

So you want a leather jacket, but don't want a biker jacket, italian style jacket, or bomber. I don't think you want a leather jacket. |

You can get TOJs in lamb, calf, horse or goat. Colors are pretty diverse too; I think there's whiskey, red, black, and brown, in addition to specials. If I recall, some of the jackets are custom tailored to your measurements. Prices have gone up since I bought mine. I paid $400, and I think prices have nearly doubled as of late.

Quoted: Quoted: How old are you? This is not an insult, but a question about age appropriate dress. 47 In addition to staying away from too many zippers, grommets and flaps, you should also avoid glossy leathers, and I'm not even talking about patent. Unless you ride, I'd do suede. Unless you've got the initial budget and concern for proper care, the new polyester suede replica fabrics are now very good. Plus, you can wash them. |

Can be found here. I have one of these and I get a lot of comments on it especially from the ladies. It can be dressed up or down to suit your needs or taste. |
