Funny story here........ Last night I was down in the "entertainment" district, i.e. clubs, bars, etc. etc. I was walking back to my Jeep when I noticed a real cute little blonde looking distressed while talking to another guy. I overheard her saying she "lost" her husband & couldn't find him. I asked her if she wanted to circle the area & llok for him? She was a bit hesitant as she didn't know me from Adam. Finally she accepted & got in & off we went looking for the "lost husband". Turns out he was with his aunt & they went into a bar/club where she didn't want to go & they are having "problems" apparently, yadda yadda yadda. We cruised twice & didn't seem him nor her. I asked her where she was staying (they're from Birmingham) & it was in my neighborhood, practically. So off we went to her hotel. We arrive & she says come up for a beer for taking me back. "OK!", I say. (I ain't totally stupid.) On the way up she tells me she's here with her in-laws, yadda yadda yadda. We get to the room & she knocks on the door. Her Mother-in-law opens up the door to find said cute little daughter-in-law standing there with a man she's never laid eyes on before & her son NOWHERE in sight!!!! The look on her face was, indeed, PRICELESS!!!! I stayed for a beer & the husband never showed. I'm guessing he was camping by their car waiting on the cutie to show up. Wonder how long he waited? >gg< |
