Folks, I wanted to note that yesterday, for the first time in 3.5 decades, I am unemployed.
Started at an airplane factory in 1976, as a skinny brownheaded youngun. Don`t know whats next, except two weeks in Alaska in Sept., but the camper is in good shape, the diesel is ready, and I sold my 97 Road King today. Not gonna need it anymore. Retirement has seemed like a far off concept for ages, suddenly there it is. Told MrsScruff, its twice the husband for half the money. Dont know what i would do without her. House is paid for, three Ford trucks paid for, camper paid for, and maybe I have enough guns. Gonna start casting bullets and loading lots of ammo again, its an addiction i can live with.
