That we don't tune in to listen to him slurp Apple.
Heck, they aren't even advertisers. |

Quoted: Quoted: Who's Apple? Computers for people convinced they cannot use computers who wind up needing to know more about computers than computer people because they chose poorly. TL:DR: Fuck Apple. Apple is worth about half a trillion because they realized a long time ago the avg guy doesn't give a rat's ass how a computer works. He just wants it to work with as little effort as possible. Apple is well on the way to seamlessly integrating the desktop/laptop/tablet/smart phone/entertainment/communication/education experience. |

Just last night I was using my iPod touch to wirelessly control iTunes on my Macbook to play from my stereo through my Airport WiFi accesspoint. Painlessly. |

I see the 'Stick to the issues' crowd is here. But it was pretty enjoyable to listen to an Apple fanatic complain about getting jacked around by them. It happens a lot, because they know they can abuse their customers and they'll be back like Tina Turner to Ike.

Apple is well on the way to seamlessly integrating the desktop/laptop/tablet/smart phone/entertainment/communication/education experience. My wife got an Ipod a couple months ago. Last May, I got her an Apple laptop. Holy cow, just these two items really impressed me with how easy it was to integrate the two so you can almost use them interchangeably. The Apple store service was second to none as well. I say more power to 'em! |

And soon to be TV. Well...., I guess that would fall under entertainment. |

That we don't tune in to listen to him slurp Apple. Heck, they aren't even advertisers. If I was in charge of advertising for Apple, how would I advertise to Rush Limbaugh's audience without alienating 50% of the consumer base? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................................ |

If I was in charge of advertising for Apple, how would I advertise to Rush Limbaugh's audience without alienating 50% of the consumer base? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................................ I had an e-mail exchange with Steve Jobs a couple years ago about the prominent use of the NY Times in Apple ads, and how it may alienate a lot of conservative customers. [He was known to answer customer e-mails late at night]. Since then, I've also seen the WSJ used in ads. I like to think I "got through", and made an impact. |

Quoted: His show, his rules. And I'm sure they are "advertisers" in that he probably gets free stuff and then plays it up to the loyal listeners. "Imbeded Advertising" if you will. Yep, "Imbeded Advertising" I would bet is much more affective. I would guess he is getting thousands for every second he spends drooling on his new devices. |

A CEO who takes user's requests seriously? Damn, who would have thought? http://i.imgur.com/F5iEX.jpg Damn. That's cool. I have a MacBook Air, a pair of MacBooks and several iPhones. I haven't even begun to tap into to insane amount of amazing integration developed into the Apple system. It's mind-blowing. |
| Rush is no fly by night operation. He's occupied the limelight for decades now and, after all, re-defined the entire spirit of the radio on the AM dial back in the day. So maybe you don't like the signals he's sending. Hold your fire, man, and before you know it, presto! He'll be back on topic. For now, he's just exercising his freewill and sharing something that, for him, is closer to the heart. Your feedback is appreciated, though. |

Quoted: Hippy if you had an android phone you could do that after you root it and fuck with the settings for 2 weeks. And then if you fucked with your Windows Vista's laptop for 8 years you might be able to control it with your phone but I doubt it. Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Who's Apple?
