displaying my "usual" websites upon opening a new tab or window anymore?  I had a few tabs open the other day, and one of the .mil websites I was using froze (big freakin suprise), and the browser crashed.  When I restarted it, it said the session had not been closed properly, and asked if I wanted to restore the session.  I clicked yes, and it didn't work.  But at the same time, it had cleared the 8 little 'thumbnails' of the sites I frequently visit.  I figured they'd come back after a few uses.  Arfcom apparently is special enough to show up in the second slot (where it's always been), but none of the other ones are filling in.

WTF?! Those were some seriously hard to find porn sites.

But really.. wtf?

I bookmarked what I needed to.  I just got so in the habit of using it that not having it is killing my internet browsing efficiency.

It really was a convenient feature.

I dont know the answer to your question, but I have been having a problem recently where chrome insists on using cached versions of pages I know have new content on them. One example is the subscriptions page. I have to manual refresh to get it to load the current page.

I believe those are your most visited websites.  don't know if there's a way to restore them.

They are indeed my most visited websites.  I have a handful of stops around the internet, and they used to stay pretty regular, but every once in a while, the most visited thumbnails would update or move around.

My issue is that now, they have gone blank, and will not update at all.  I've been doing my normal browsing for about a week now, and they still remain blank.    When I first used Chrome, it took all of two or three uses to fill them up.

Google chrome is a crashing piece of shit. PS even though you don't have a google account don't go deleting the one in the browser. You lose everything with no way of getting it back.
